That is not very nice of them not to have it in Blu-Ray since I don't buy anything but Blu-Ray. And that is why they are called the History Channel.

The iTunes offerings are in HD, though 720p (which I believe is what History HD broadcasts in).

The upcoming release of TGUK S17 blu-ray advertises "Includes bonus Top Gear episode from the US show". It was obviously in HD, and iTunes has 720p copies, so it seems to me they just made a stupid decision to not release it in true HD.
