Well we all thought the M8 had been crushed and long gone, turns out it was stashed away and now resides in the BMW museum. Looks like it's been finished as well.

I love it, even if you can't drive that one at night.

<3
WANT.

... Although in practice I guess a CSi is as close as I'll ever get.

Sweetness! Finally i got a reason to go visit the bmw museum.

Can it slap a shrimp on the barbie and does it run on Fosters?

The Engine looks like the McLarren F1 unit with all the Carbonfiber. I want to hear it! :)

That is awesome. Just looked at Wiki, according to them it's a 6.0L version of the M70 engine, producing 550bhp. Any chance they have a V12 powered Z8 sitting around there?

so.....anyone got an accurate security sitrap on that place?

I always loved the styling of the 8-series. It's a shame they weren't very good cars.

When I was working at BMW we'd have atleast one in every two weeks. I don't know how this was possible considering I thought these cars were pretty rare around here.

I think the most dissapointing thing on the 8-series is, that It looked very sporty like a ferrari, but drove like a heavy wooly american saloon, because they based it on the 7-series, it was like they couldnt decide if they wanted to make an sporty Grand Tourer or a luxury CL/SEC style Tankcoupe. Just like Jaguar in the 70's with the XJS, first planned as an midengined supercar, sold as heavy coupe.

Not as bad as the XJ41 would have been if it hit production.

I need that car in my life. :D
