Ok for the life of me, I cannot figure out what food item Clarkson is asking for in this scene from his show 'Clarkson Meets the Neighbours' mystery food is highligghted in bold.

Ok during the France ep, fastforward to 7m30s Clarkson says this in the restaurant:

Now, what i'd like is a sandwich in a sort of triangular cellophane wrapper, and some of Jeanie's panties, and a big bowl of oven ready chips.

I'm sorry but panties is what we call 'knickers' in the US, what is this, slang for some kind of british motorway snack?

Julies Panties!

Guessing Ginsters Pasties perhaps? Mispronounced to avoid BBC marketing rules. http://www.ginsters.co.uk/

So it's not just me that hears that, is it? I've heard James May mention Ginsters Pasties many times because i know he's addicted to meat pies, but what clarkson says sounds a lot like 'panties'.

Word of advice for those unlucky enough to not be British:
Avoid service areas (and Ginsters, for that matter) if you ever come here. Find a pub or something near the next junction, for the sake of your health and wealth...

will cost probably around ?2.50 and is the worst thing to ever come out of the West Country.
*puts soapbox away*

The only reason i heard of Ginster's pasties is James May seems to be addicted to them and constantly mention them on all his shows.
