Brits post your snow days 'ere

:roflmao: You call that snow? Hell, it doesn't even cover the lawn!

How long did it take all that to accumulate anyway? 5, 10 minutes?

Yeah.. well.. erm... er.... our permanent overcast grey drizzle kicks the shit out of your drizzle...

so there....

/our weather sucks

I would be careful with that. Your eccentrics put hats and sunglasses on stuffed Moose heads in the lodge. Their eccentrics build trebuchets that throw cars half way across a football pitch.

Although I admit it, I would do the same with that much money.

You mean Canada is worried about a medieval siege engine as a threat to national security?

*adds to list of things to mock about Canada* :D

No, they'll just think the brits are being ridiculous and use the "deadly weapon excuse" to confiscate it so they can play with it afterwards. We like trebuchets too, but we don't bother building them ... we'd rather put hats and sunglasses on stuffed mooses heads. :p This keeps us occupied in winter when you just don't wanna go outside your igloo.

Pfft, you call that snow? You can still see grass poking out of it ;)

This is snow... (and this is what it looks like for months at a time without letup)

:canadian: :D

yeah
we got 18 inches over the course of the last day and a half. That's not colorado-grade snow, but it kicks the shit out of the UK's piddling inch-and-a-half.

You call that snow? I was in Sweden this week, drinking and skiing, jumping half naked into the snow, loving every part of it. The beer froze, and if you threw hot water into the air, it became snow.

Now, that's cold and snowy. :tease:

Do I win?:D This is what 40cm's of snow and 100km/h winds do:?
(all the tracks you see are snowmobile tracks)

yeah, that's what happens in Newfoundland. We had a pretty severe storm here too ... but it never goes as bad as there. So I guess you win. Unless PEI has a say in it I guess.
