How can something be called cheeseCAKE and be categorised as pie?

Have you never had one?

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE= cheesecake, but I'm one of those weirdos who hates it with chocolate, and I still really enjoy it when the crust is greasy and it's got a sugary-grainy texture and cracked on top and covered with cherry or blueberry pie filling from a can.
