Can't Play Motorsport Mayhem

I downloaded Motorsport Mayhem from a person's ftp site and about 2 minutes into the video it becomes blotchy beyond recognition. I was wondering if other people have had this problem with their Motorsport Mayhem download. Also, I tried to install new codecs to try and get it to work, but I think it's just the rip that's the problem. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
 
Thanks for the info, when I tried divfix and it gave me an error "i/o error 23." Have you ever had that error before? I googled it but there wasn't any helpful info on this error. Then I tried another program called Divx Repair 1.0.8, but that didn't work either. I'm stumped.
 
Some error on the downloaded file, it's my guess. Try to get it again.
