Car number 2. VW Bora.

LOL!

Old man wagon.

The badge on the back is made up of two parts, The chrome VW Badge, and the black backing. The backing had gone manky and gray so with a bit of effort I spit it and sprayed it matt black... then the stickerbook came out again.

Crap pics but you get the idea!

With ^ - they really fit the car well.

Maybe paint them black? The steelies work well in black with the dark green, so with 5 mins on PS I made this:

Looks good I reckon. (but then they look fine in silver too - your car though so its what you want). I'd go for them, but then I don't have my own car to mod :p

i prefer the original color.. and suits the car fine..

They look very similar to the new Audi OEM wheels from the A4/A6, I approve :)

Kind of coilovers are they? Everyone and there dog buys cheap eBay ones here that are awful; drop down 90mm no bother but make the ride erm uncomfortable

Prefer shock and springs myself; Bilstein, Spax and Eibach. Beter compromise; plus going lower than 40mm ruins the handling

They are "Audi TT Turbines" From, you guessed it, the MK2 Audi TT :) May have been used on other cars too!

Thanks for the kind words. I do like silver on the rims, but since they need a refurb I may do them on Cream for a laugh.

Rims are an inch too big imo. :)

I think those rims definitely fit the style of the car. excess is sometimes an option, and in the case of this car, it is

I'm with Speedtouch on this, but i'd go for a bit more colour matched

Don't change the colors on the new wheels.

nothing as rice as painted rimes. it's simply not done if you ask me

^ Agree - I don't think making them green is a good idea - only dark grey or black. Indeed the Volvo looks

I've started to refurbish one. Filled in the curb marks, sanded down, primered and painted. My first go at anything like this and so far it's going well! Will show you what colour I've tried tomorrow..... maybe ;)
