Hello everyone! I'm going to send the final design for the work shirt to Quiky soon, and since it will probably be expensive, I thought I'd get prospective buyer input. First off, what sort of font do you want the "CREW" bit to be in?

Here are a few examples:

Second, the type of helicopter. Huey, Chinook, other?

Comic sans :p

I think a Huey would fit better. A Chinook looks too big and would probably be used by a competent piano moving helicopter service.

Third is sooo clich?. 2 is a bit boring but works. Choose 1 provided it works in the content you're going to use it.

Third: Additional content.

Perhaps a tagline on the back-bottom such as:
Now serving St Moritz!

BTW, I have created this Huey:

A suggestion for the helicopter: I don't think Huey or Chinook are good, something like the NH90 would fit very well, since it is a transport helicopter. I know the Chinook is one, but I find it to be overkill for this. Though I prefer that to the Huey.

As for the font....from these options the 3rd is the best, but army font is a cliche as mentioned. I think a Yamaha style font would fit the bill nicely:

I like the huey choice the best. It lends itself to a entertaining back story, like they bought it as a Vietnam surplus and it isn't the best, but who needs the best when you are going careless anyway. Another chopper that lends itself to a similar funny back story in something like a Bell 47...

Use a British helicopter... like a Westland Lynx

The Bell is much more comical though.

A couple of quick mock-ups:

I will try something with the Bell.

My vote is for any big blocky looking font, and I think we should consider using a sky crane for the helicopter:

If possible you should separate the "E" and "W" and not have them connected like that. But in general I personally like that. I'm still going to vote "proper" transport helicopter to be used.

I don't mind the big helicopter. They are careless...doesn't mean that they are tight with their cash. I like the idea better that they started by buying super expensive machines, but could care less about how they are doing the job.

So what are some thoughts on the ground and the Marina off in the distance idea?

What I meant that as long as it is a transport helicopter, whether it is an NH90, Chinook, Sky Crane or
something else, I'm happy.

The ground and the Marina....I am still thinking the Marina isn't 100% necessary to have, since the piano+helicopter is the actual joke here. I'm thinking if we are doing a work shirt, then I want it to look like one, in the sense that it may actually fool somebody at first glance and create reactions like "Piano removal...helicopters....WTF ??". Maybe some ID type scribble on the front, like one original plan had.

Some other ideas for fonts, for free this time (Loads more here: http://www.dafont.com/)

I don't like the ground. Especially in 2-bit, the ground doesn't really add anything and distracts from the helicopter and piano. Plus they need to have the piano in the air at some point if they're going to be careless with it, so it would make more sense for it not to be on the ground.
