Cars you'd like to see in series 15?

Merc SLS vs McLaren MP4 12C

Ferrari 458 Italia

Aston Martin Rapide vs. Porsche Panamera

Koenigsegg CCX-R vs. Pagani Zonda R or Cinque vs. Aston One-77

Would want some sensible car's also so maybe a supermini challenge, or a hotsupermini challenge.
Or even a green-car challenge!

And with this bad recession it would good to make one of those legendary TG walls (about same as cool wall) where would be car's that are good for value, good and cheap to run.

Mercedes SLS
Hyundai Equus
Ferrari 458 Italia
Jaguar XFR and XJ

Ariel Atom 500
And as some have said:
Ferrari 458
I'd like to see James test the Bentley Mulsanne and/or the new Rolls Royce Ghost.
Probably Jeremy in the Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaag XJ
and Richard in the Aston One-77.

Also, I think it'd be cool to see them do a piece on some old Saabs (sort of) like they did with the Lancias this series.

Seems like Britain's favorite sportscar deserves a cheap car challenge or at least a dedicated road test, fuck the Lamborghinis.

Oooooh - cheap cabrio challenge - like!

The best cars have already been named here:

- Ferrari 458 Italia
- Aston Martin One 77 and Rapide
- Mercedes SLS AMG
- The announced McLaren if it is in a developement state which allows a test
- Golf 6 GTI
- Isnt there a new Jag? I used to love Jags...
- Wiesmann GT MF 5 (would be great on the track I guess)

Guys, stop mentioning 5000 million year old cars like the 135i, GTI and the Sandero. PLEASE.

Oh, I'd love to see Richard try the new GT3 RS.

But seriously... they did that Ford F150 test several series ago. I'd like to see them do the new Ford F150 SVT Raptor. Although I'm not sure if it is going to be sold in the UK.

had a few multi-car test ideas:

Atom 500V8 vs. R500 Superlight
458 Italia vs. SLS AMG vs. MP4-12C
Panamera Turbo vs. Rapide
ACR SRT-10 vs. Camaro SS vs. Mustang GT500 vs. Challenger SRT8

ACR SRT-10 vs. Camaro SS vs. Mustang GT500 vs. Challenger SRT8
I like the idea, but I can't say that'd exactly be a fair comparison.. You're talking about a supercar that laps the 'Ring in 7:20 and change vs three, albeit good, muscle cars.
Drop the SRT-10 and I'd love to see it though.

All mentioned above +
- Morgan Aeromax
:D
No point in comparing Viper ACR with mustangs or camaros, its much much faster.
Also we need cheap hot hatch challenge ( Imagine 205 GTi vs Golf GTi vs Clio Williams or 5 GT Turbo :D )or cheap small roadster challenge.

Since it is the car that was mentioned the most in this thread...

That car alone calls for a special.
Who needs those "kit-cars on steroids" if you can have perfection and legacy like the SLS.

That Noble (a few weeks ago) looked like a bathroom appliance to me.
Somebody takes 800 horse powers, and wraps them in carbon fiber.
That alone means nothing to me.
One time I've seen a street racing clip, where a Honda beats a Ferrari.
Away from the point, that the Honda must be a hysteric POS, in normal traffic.
At the end of the day, it's still a Honda.

For me personally; it's better to have a car that's nice and clean, even if it's not the king of the road.
I don't care for tuning. Specially if it's some air filter "Fantasy Tuning" (that doesn't do anything).
The best production car, made by the people who know what they're doing.
I see AMG somewhat as production.

And even if there is only money for a small production car, at least it's REAL.

If GM doesn't shut down Saab, I'd like to see James May testing the new 9-5.

Heh. YES!

Personally, I'd like to see them do a Saab history film, as well. Preferably by James - just let him be his nerdy self.

I think shelly means the coupe version.

It wasn't me!

I'll let you guess.

It starts with a K

and ends in an oenigsegg CCXR

Forgot about that! Definitely that.

honda-cr-v-2007-793052.jpg

Really? It's neither a cool Honda nor a hybrid. :p I believe you mean CR-Z.;)

Yeah, you're right; I did. It all made sense in my head; my fingers just didn't find the correct key at the end.

Peugeot RCZ

Dammit, forgot about that, too!

I've been waiting to see Hammond's Morgan as I think it's an awesome looking thing but since he stuffed it at a roundabout a while back it may not be back from the menders.

If I remember, Ozgirl said somewhere that it has been fixed, as it was on show at TG Live London when she went. So he can give it a thrashing review!

Der Neue A8 vs. The New XJ for James. I'm sure he'd like explaining the new tech in the Audi and the suppleness of the leather and the poshness of the wood in the XJ
