I like Donkervoort more...WAY more.

We know you do. We know WHY you do

But this looks nicer IMHO...

Btw... After watching "racecar is born", while still under impressionfrom westfield kitcar, I tried to find out about the possibility to buy/build such car in Finland and register it as road legal. Didn't find much (but it seems to possible, because I've seen one with plates before). Anyway, while searching for manufacturers/resalers, I found a company in Estonia that makes lotus7 replicas. The name is rather original ESTfield :) And you can buy it with... Lada 1200 engine
To be fair, I have to say they offer Audi/BMW also, but Lada really made me laugh

Hehe No I don't like it because it's dutch. Because it looks better.
How much sweeter is this?

^ i would like that better if it wasnt for the head lights. if they fit in with the body work i would love it

Well.. yeah. And Westfield/Caterham ripped Lotus SuperSeven. And so did bunch of other little companies :) So they all owe it to Lotus really.

EDIT: Correction, Caterham has actually bought rights from Lotus to produce Seven... Ok, I don't know much about this thing either, so I might be wrong :D

Caterham actually owns the complete rights for the 7. If Lotus wanted to build some, they would have to buy a license from Caterham...

To MXM: I actually wrote my dissertation about Caterhams and Westfields (Consumer behaviour study..) and while talking with them they did say that they have sold a few cars to Sweden and Denmark, none to Finland but they were willing to sell me one if I'd had the money. So maybe it could be legal here?

Lotus handed the "keys" to the entire Lotus 7 design, assamebly line, jigs, parts, etc ... to Caterham in May 1973 at the London hotel called Lotus Pub.

What book do you think I'm readin gnow :D
