Autoblog: Caterham to break out of the Seven mold with all-new model

Well, they pulled the wraps off today... It's obviously nothing like the 21, it's basically a Mini-LMP car like the Radical. Anyways, here it is... It's built in cooperation with Lola...

Bets one whether the top of the line version will use V8 from the Levante

It looks nice, but somehow I'd just rather have a Seven.

I'm in the same boat. It's kinda hard for me to get excited about something you can't use at all untill after you've stuck in on a trailer and towed it to a track.

I'm not terribly exited about it either. It's kind of predictable for a kit-car company to build one of the para-prototypes. It's cool that they have Lola involvement but honestly if I was buying a track toy I'd go with the much more popular, much cheaper Radical. What's the point of having a track-only car like this if you can't race it?

Was hoping for something more special than this...
