I've recently decided that I need an HTPC, and I figured i'd go cheap (720p vids max, no games, and I have a small feeling that this is an impulse purchase...) Here's what I have:

HEC 6K28BBOH40D case - has 400w PSU
Foxconn G31MX-K MicroATX
Pentium E2180 w/ stock cooler.
Samsung Spinpoint F1 HD502lJ 500gb
Sapphire Radeon HD 2600XT 256mb
1gb kingston ddr2-800 (stolen from my desktop, lol)
Rosewill RNX-G300LX b/g wireless card
10x Masscool FD08025S1M4 80mm fans (because 10 is cheaper than 2 w/ volume discount... gotta love newegg )
dvdrw from parent's old desktop
xp home, borrowed from old desktop

ends up being about $310, which is nice. My goal is for it to be quick enough for 720p. Anyone have any thoughts?

If the board supports regulating the stock fan, you'll be fine mostly (concerning loudness). 720p will work I reckon...
