CHILI TIME!

Chili con carne isn't supposed to knock your socks off, atleast that's what I think and most recipes lead you to believe.

Somebody likes jalepenos! :p

I might have over done it a little bit, but I was a bit disappointed by the included cayenne solution. Still not too extreme.

My first attempt at making chili, using recipes from this thread, will be well documented (and poorly executed).

How do you feel about Lion's Choice's chili cheese fries?

I made some chili 2 weeks ago.. didn't take pics...

but where is what it involved

one can of crushed tomatoes
one small can of tomato sauce
one can of red (kidney) beans
ground beef (dunno how much grams, but it was in a 500ml pot) (already cooked, thanks mom )
one onion
half of a green bell pepper
old el paso chili mix powder

it was quite tasty, but next time I'll add more spicy stuff. anybody tried tabasco in their chili? or maybe I'll try some sambal oelek.

^Cripes it looks the area I grew up in.

But you used the wrong kind of beer. You need American pisswater like Miller Lite or Budweiser. And the beef has to be American also. Sames go for the fire. You can't make chili your wimpy Euro-fires.

It also helps if you are a racist oppressor of negroes and starter of unjust wars, like a very kind Swede informed me of.

Recipe, looks interesting?
