I tried to install a Chrome app from the play store, but instead of installing to my browser I ended up with a shortcut on my desktop and a new program pinned to my start bar. I have since uninstalled the app, deleted the shortcut, and unpinned the app launcher thing.
I am a bit pissed right now because there was nothing that indicated the app was anything more than a Chrome extension, I didn't want something outside of Chrome and I certainly didn't agree to Google installing shit on my desktop. How I can I permanently disable and remove this App Launcher? It doesn't appear in the Uninstall Program list and I can't find any obvious file associated with it in the Chrome folder.
