Currently codenamed ?Firepower? this new Chrysler concept plays off the Crossfire themes, but is powered by a 6.1-liter HEMI V-8 and is based off the Viper platform. Chrysler is touting this as a ?grand tourer? concept and is focusing on luxury and performance. It is a two-seater with a tinted glass roof that extends to the rear liftgate that gives an open feeling inside the car.

The front is nice. The rest is not, imho. Also, does Benz provide the engiens in DAmiler-Chrysler or do they do the bodywork and so forth?

the front is nice, the rear is ok but the side view sucks (and has no doors :? )

firepower is all chrysler.. no mercedes in it.. with the exception perhaps of a tranny. loosely based on the old chronos concept car.

the 6.1L hemi is rated at 425hp and i believe 450lb-ft of torque.

it is based on the new viper chassis.

I hate the hemi engines.. sorry.

And the design on this pre-model 3d render is not good. I guess they got scared
after their failure with the crossfire and has now stolen the DB9's backlights,
the RX-8's headlights and sort of edged them up a bit. Yuck...

you hate them?

how can you hate something that makes 425hp in production form.. hell it carries a 60,000km warrenty on the engine.. it's way detuned to keep it from destroying the tranny and chassis.. with a proper cam, headers and intake mods.. your looking at a 600hp motor.. naturally aspirated.. toss a blower in there and your in the 4 digit range.

What the.....

Do I see a Corvette front and a Murcielago back?

It is too American...trying too hard to look like an italian..

I think it looks great, end of story.

If it "copies" elements from other cars, so what? Every carmaker does that.

I have to say I agree with you here. Even if it is made in America and decided on disgusting chrome alloys - that car is still one sexy mofo! :)

looks very nice... better than the MC-12 thingy they were planning but scrapped it. I see alot of Aston Martin in the looks

Aston Martin rip-off. Too much of Aston Martin. I'm quite disappointed that car manufacturers can't design unique cars anymore.
