Took some photos today with my new D60. First time at the event with a DSLR - makes a huge difference from my film SLR and the P&S Digitals.

Took just over 800 frames today - most are pretty samey but managed to get some good shots and even some good action.

This first set is of one of the Biante Touring Car Masters cars having a lose at the final hairpin.

This set is of a collision of a couple of Aussie Racing Cars also at the final hairpin.

Will take some more tomorrow - planning on going into the pits for a while - so should get some variety there.

  the Touring Car Masters - saw them at Philip Island last year, fantastic machines & action. The Aussie racers are superb too - quite possibly the best racing on offer here at the moment.

Day 3: Concentrated on the GT cars today as I hadn't really captured any of them much so far. Love these cars - so much variety in the field. Kinda got attached to the Aston Martin DBRS 9 as it was belching flame out of the exhaust on over run.

Also got a few shots of the Roulettes (Australian Airforce display team) and the FA/18 Hornet fly past.
