I hate you.

 Ok, I SHOULD add that I "hopefully" will be replacing the R with an S5 sometime next year-ish.

I heard rumours that the RS5 will have a Turbo V8, NA V8, Gallardo V10, and TTRS-V8. I'd love to hold off, work hard, and save up for one of those (that is if they even make it to US shores). But they will probably be ridiculously expensive and take years of saving to get just a 2nd hand one.

Actually, seeing that Crown Vic reminds me...

The new Ford Falcon. That's what our American colleagues should be getting rather than the Crown Vic/500.

That one, the G6, is the semi-luxury one, with a 4-litre straight 6, about 270hp. There are also Turbo-6 and V8 versions.

The RS5 will have a reworked version of the V8 from the last RS4. 450hp or something like that. An S5 should be plenty for normal daytime driving anyway.

^You live in Finland. I highly doubt that normal Calibers are common. I can't say that I've ever even seen a CSRT4, they're not exactly common anywhere, and lesser Calibers are quite a common crappy suburb econocrapbox here.

Some of you must live very wealthy areas if you think common, everyday cars are S class Mercedes and 5-6 series BMWs. :glare:

Stick with the topic.

The point of this thread - lots of people seem to have missed it.

...However, if we go down to common cars, we would immediately eliminate all the Alfas, even though they are not sooo expensive.

NB: the title of the thread :p

Actually, like Neons and Sebrings, Calibers are common here. I saw a copper SRT-4 today, and at least in the capital region there are several of them. I don't know who the heck would buy a Caliber, but apparently lots of people have.

Ah, interesting. :)

Also I quite like Mazda 3s (hatches moreso than sedans), they're pretty good looking, the interior while not flashy is really nice, but there's other cars I would rather have first.

A Caprice, let alone a WM Caprice is not exactly a common car considering it's what, best part of 80 grand or more?

Still a nice car, just not exactly a 'common' car.

The Subaru Legacy (Liberty here), E39 BMW 5 Series, E38 BMW 7 Series, Golf GTI, and just about all Alfas.

I see heaps of Caprice and Statesmen around this area, I regard them as an everyday car.

Not to mention how ugly it is, that has got to be great for the engine to ingest all that tire smoke.
