I've been having some problems getting "connectable". Some trackers require this, and afaik my dl and number of available seeds/peers speeds suffer because of it. I've opened the right ports in my firewall for torrents/active ftp (as configured in my clients/addresses), but I still can't get through. I still need to be in passive mode at least for DC (I don't ftp much, and cuteftp tries pasv/port automatically, so I haven't really paid attention)
I THINK my ISP is using a transparent proxy (which frankly I don't know a lot about), according to an online checker site. I was told this may cause the problems I have, can anyone comment on this or confirm? Do ISPs usually have a strick policy about keeping transparent proxies, or should I generally be able to have them show my real IP?
