Convertibles are not pickups.

Yes, the HHR was/is a terrible car. The SSR, on the other hand :p

I guess you get something like a pickup truck if you remove the roof and cap from an early Bronco...

I think Punisherbass said it best on IRC on a conversation we had a long time ago:

It failed as a convertible, it failed as a pickup truck and was pretty terrible all around

Yeah, not to mention it brought the factory where it was made down with it

anyway...

I had a fully-inflated two-person raft in the backseat of the Failtima for a while. I kept forgetting to take it out and it didn't block the view out the rear window, so look! That car's got a boat in it!

It's not a convertible and the boat wasn't even remotely a squeeze to fit in there, but it made for some interesting looks in the Starbucks drive-thru anyway.

Don't we have a member with an MR2? He carries all sorts.

I am somewhat cheating by using a luggage rack.

My old MR2 once brought home a 5-foot tall nicknack shelf sticking through the sunroof, but I don't have that picture on hand right now.

Not convertibles, but:
'84 Civic: Largeish chest of drawers + desk + stereo.
'98 ZX2: 32" LCD TV in the back seat. I missed my old civic that day.
