Cool Corvette

Apparently, it was a Ligenfelter (SP?) prepared Corvette with NOS, you can even hear the NOS coming in as it accellerates.

I WANT ONE...

If you look on the site... they were in a "'95 Eagle Talon AWD Turbo"

I think this is like a Mitsubisi Eclipse.

They reckoned on a 13s 1/4

So the Corvette was quicker.

Just for the reaction, it was funny... :)

 Those guys were in WAY over their heads. :bangin:

If i am not mistaken Lingenfelter has some top speed recored in the Vette...

And IIRC, Lingenfelter is actually a shit company, having cars and stuff for long periods of time, no doing work, etc. Dunno if this is true or not...

Yeah but they make awesome cars, even though consumer support seems to lack.

And FYI, Lingenfelter died like 1 year ago.. after a crash

He did? Sounds familiar. I've forgotten though.

What'd he crash in/doing?

I think he crashed a twin turbo vette during a test on a track, but I could be wrong about that.

No, you are right. That's what I heard as well.

IIRC there was a twin turbo 'sledgehammer' C5 that clocked 245 MPH but I can't remember who made it.

Viper, I think the guy you're reffering to as having crappy customer service rep is Hennesey, the guy who does Vipers up but he's been trying to change his image lately by repaying his customers and keeping up his promises.

Dunno 'bout lingenfelter's rep though. When I first read about his death I was like hell no, this is a joke but it's pretty damn sad, his 'Vettes are AMAZING and I'm a Mopar guy....
