I know this topic has been beaten to death on these fourms, but I did receive a copyright letter from my ISP today regarding a download I made of Final Fantasy 14 (Which is a MMO and I own the game I just did not have the disc, but that is besides the point). Also which was reported to my ISP by the ESA.

My main concern is while I know people here say you cannot get into trouble for downloading the Top Gear episodes my main question is why do you say that because I want to make sure I won't have any problems in the future because I don't want to have to deal with my ISP getting rid of my connection.

Also is it legal to also watch a stream of Top Gear via Streetfire.net?

May I ask why do you say that?

Is there a chance I can get in trouble for watching it over a stream?

Nope but it is safer really from the monitoring POV - or get it from one of the FTPs - that is way is much safer, ISPs are not monitoring them at all (AFAIK), they are this sites private files really.
