Covid 19 CRISIS

It's also a major detriment because they rely on other nations for the production of medicines and medical equipment - even if another nation is willing to give up their stock right now, it takes much longer to reach them.
Well it's a detriment in terms of treatment sure but it is a huge boon when it comes to containment. If they were to have a crazy huge outbreak like NY they would be proper fucked, before Ze Germans get there, but since they are doing well on containment it doesn't really matter.

I'm always fascinated when you talk about your job. I hope we get a Ringmeet this year so you can tell more.
You can find out a bit more tomorrow at 21:45. ;) The featured company is the one I work for.

The picture in my mind is two people with their arms stretched out over a line on the street handing over a case.
The Polish courier arrived at the border (literally at the temporary concrete barrier) in an ambulance van and we did the handover in that, after which he drove back to Krakow and I walked back to the train station. Fairly unusual, but it worked like clockwork.

While visiting the Mayo clinic Pence said he was tested daily so there was no reason to wear a mask.

"Part of our protocol for ensuring your safety is to require all patients, visitors and staff to wear a face covering or mask while at Mayo Clinic to guard against transmission of COVID-19."

Pence refused

"And since I don't have the coronavirus, I thought it'd be a good opportunity for me to be here, to be able to speak to these researchers, these incredible healthcare personnel, and look them in the eye and say 'thank you'."

Not one Mayo Clinic employee removed their mask

Italy is getting better.

A programmed easing of the restrictions is starting now and will see its first major stage on may 4th, with the step by step restart of the entire productive system and the permission to do outdoor activities (alone). The idea is to get to reopen most of the country by June 1st.

Face masks and social distancing will be staying with us and will be compulsory.

Cuomo orders NYC subway trains sanitized every night

Okay, anyone, raise your hands if you can explain to me why the hell this is not SOP, pandemic or not. What, do you think NY residents like stepping on hobo cum and that stale burrito that someone dropped two weeks ago? Around $80m budgeted to maintenance and nobody can drop a hundred grand or so per quarter in squeegees and lysol?
Normally the trains are running quite a bit actually and they just go through and mop em at the terminals.
And yeah those trains aren’t exactly the picture of
cleanliness

^ and I'd say bum. The phrase "hobo" congers the romantic notion of riding the rails.

The problem of public facility sanitation is interesting because, according to Mitch, America doesn't have the money to support the states and the states don't have the ability to even get PPE without the federal government intercepting and stealing equipment.

I'd imagine to effectively sanitize a Subway train similar tools would be confiscated
