Craig(B)'s List - Oddities and Weird Stuff

Looks to be a bit pricey, but... also in VERY good shape AND a California car.

Two videos are included at the bottom of the listing.

That's a super nice car. No reason for me to own it... :D

This makes me question the local Volvo. Not that it's overpriced, just that if I save my pennies a bit I could have one that runs from the start.

That for sure would fit under the banner of odd. What were they thinking...

2CV, yes. 505, no.

It's the Green Hornet... :p I do like Hornet wagons though.

While not on craiglist, i believe this thing totally fit in the "Weird Stuff" category :

STi 6 speed swap?
Have you called about it yet?
1965 volvo - $1000 (Spfd mo)

1965 volvo - $1000 (Spfd mo)

"I have it in primer ready for paint"

I can't think of many phrases in Craigslist ads that I dislike more.

What I read is: "Be prepared to strip off every square inch of primer so that you can do the prep work that I was too lazy to do..."

Grrr!

is it a B16 or B18?

Also, if ya do end up with something Volvo, it's still possible to find parts for those over here in scandinavialand.

as it's lacking a carb, you can just use one from anothe B16 to B23 type engines, they mostly fit. it's the triple digits ones that can be different, had to swap the intake on my first car to get the carb from a B21 onto a B200K.
