This season seems to have more noticeable "reruns" & "same footage" shots for their reviews and stuff.
I mean both TG & FG have done a few sneaky things like that before. However this season of FG seems to have at least 2 or 3 in just about every review. In 11x05 with Tiff in the Clio & Corsa shootout, there are several double shots. In the review 11x02 where Johnny drives the C-Class...

Is it that they are not getting enough footage at the time of the drive and they need to fill it up some more when they do their editing ?
It just seems sometimes it is bit like a 70's or 80's porno, where they just have a few different scenes and they just loop it all together.

Maybe not sufficient amounts of film with awsome stuff.

Seem to remember that Top Gear makes about 50-100 times more film than they show us on the telly, that really makes for a very substantial material for editing.

Guess Fifth Gear doesn't have the same resources as Top Gear.

TG does a 1:25 ratio according to Clarkson. Now he usually doubles everything, so 1:12 is still pretty far out.

My guess, FG is counting on the average viewer who doesn't give a damn but notices that it got better overall. Better use a good shot twice than push out garbage like they did last season.
Damn, even Vickis car test are kind of watchable now...

BTW, Viper, when tf do I get my "...strongly dislikes Vicky" title???

Well, we are far enough in to the series now that we can see where they are going. Improved out of all recognition from last year.

Tiff and Plato both up to snuff as expected, some good guests booked (I know some of you do not like Brit celibs because you don't know them, but tough fast forward).

Tom his usual fun self, and holy of holies Johnny has matured into a decent presenter. The piece on the Mondeo this week was really really good, facts and entertaining quirkiness too.

Actually I do like Vicki and she has always done OK for me.

Yes back on form from a disappointing low last series. Best review ever on FG Tiff doing the R8 BTW.
