I assume this forum got Atlantien-ed....

But cool car, Cold! I really want my dad to consider the new Golf R (the MkVI) when it comes to Australia, as he is put off a bit by how common GTIs are now, but he thinks it is way too expensive :( But yeah, a hot golf full stop would be nice, he just keeps dallying around and procrastinating :(

i almost bought an r32 but in the states we don't get them with manual. i also would of regretted my purchase after i would of been pulled on by a gti with just a reflash. granted the r32 will out handle the gti on a track but that's only on a crazy twisty track. a gti with an ecu reflash and coilovers will offer a very similar driving experience to an r32 for thousands less
