I saw Der Untergang today, it was really really good

Is that the movie about Hitler's last days?
I think it's on ABC on sunday in the US.

You can check the Trailer with English subs here: http://www.downfallthefilm.com/

I've just seen that they've added the guy with the deep voice to the trailer. "Bruno Ganz in a story never told before".
That's pure comedy.

^ The message board is a must read. You'll never encounter that many trolls at one place. It's just insane. So far I saw American Nazis with "German" names, people who claimed to be Jewish, who did nothing else than trying to piss of the people who tried to argue against the Nazis. Most of the topics have titles like: "Hitler's archievements" or "Why does everybody hates the Germans ?" Take a look at it, if you want to have a good laugh. Although I must warn you. Reading some topics might cause severe brain damage.

Finally got to watch it. Loved it. Although it looks like I need to brush up on my German.... I understood most of it.

I saw it about a month ago. It was very impressive. It's important that these kind of films are made because we must not forget...

And it was nice that it was in German. I hate all the American films about Hitler/Nazis/The Third Reich. Speaking English in a stupid and constrained accent doesn't beat the authentic language...

it should've won the Oscar...

Yes, it definitely should have. I haven't seen the film film that won the foreign language Oscar, though... What was its name? The Sea Inside or something? But I won't criticize that film before I see it.

But let's see: which one is more important to us, a film that tells about a man who want's to die, or a film that tells about the most notable phases of the 20th century?
