Thanks! Und Gr??e zur?ck. ;)

Very nice Murcielago I must say, I have been toying with the idea of getting an AA Murcielago myself for quite some time, but they don't offer my preffered combination of black exterior and cream interior in 1:18 (only 1:12), so I always hesitated.
That, and the fact that my collection is sort of frozen for now anyway, 'cause it is just a bit too costly for me right now, and I don't have space to put them anywhere either. ;)

How much did you get raped for the 40th? I know prices on eBay have been mind boggling.

I will throw some pics up later of my recent pick ups after a few month break.

it cost me 219 eur but is worth every cent :D

I tried a new backround and I?m pretty satsified

Bought at the VW stand on the motorshow :D

Just a 1/43 since I don't really have space for a big one...

It still looks very nice though, especially for a 1:43.

Does it say anywhere who's the real maker? (Official brand models are almost always just made by a normal model car company under contract)

The package doesn't say anything... :dunno:

the scale 43 Scirocco is made from "Norev".
They also make the 1/18 one but I still prefer AA and Kyosho :D

Speaking of AA / Kyosho..
I don't know if it's maybe just bad luck on my part, but so far every AA model I got had some problems.... on the Porsche, one of the exhausts fell off (still does every now and then, incredibly stupid location to glue back on), a wingmirror broke off the RX8's door, a wiper fell off on the Aston, the BMW's exhaust dropped off, the aerial on the Mustang broke (although that one was my own fault), and finally one of the handlebars on the Norton broke too. :?
Only the Kyosho A8 had no problems with loose parts etc. so far. :|

Well I have about 70 models and yeah its true.

Sometimes the models have little or major flaws :(
Handarbeit eben ;)

My Nissan GTR is flawless. So is also my red R8 and stuff.

wow, the detail on that thing is very good, no wonder it cost you so much! you pay for the workmanship though!

yeah, if you take your time, you can spot all the fabolous details and learn to appreciate them

How many 1:18 do people own? I just counted and I am at exactly 170. With more arriving every week.

I have about 70 but I don?t count too often :D

My new black CGT. I got it from ebay from a seller from greece. But everything worked fine

The black AA RX-8 was apparently sold out everywhere when I was looking for one (I think AA stopped producing it?), so I had to track a new one down in Hong Kong via ebay.
Took some time to arrive, but apart from that everything went fine too. :D

My lovely BBR Enzo :woot:
