Diecast Models

I'm ready to say that their McLaren F1 is the greatest thing since modern civilization and sliced bread.

I wanted to buy myself a diecast for my birthday(was on August 31:cool:) but I still haven't decided which one I want. Maybe you guys can help?

Kyosho Boxster RS60 Spyder - $95 shipped

AUTOart Veyron White/Blue - $168 shipped

AUTOart Veyron Red/Black or Blue/Black - $154 shipped

AUTOart Mercedes C63 - $98 shipped

Or wait for the Hot Wheels 458 Italia?

hard one, can?t tell you justin :(
Veyron is great but there will be new colors for it.

C63AMG is also cool.

@Crazy Russian,

well many people said that AA did a mess on the Balboni.
I investigated and found a picture that proved them all wrong. AA and stuff observe the forums
and were very happy about my defending and proving that AA did notthing wrong on the model.

I have an Anson Porsche 911 GT1 (1998, N.25)

Can anybody tell me if it's limited edition or worth a bit or run off the mill?

Or actually I have the following and it'd be great if you someone could give me a quote a quote, a friend wants to buy them off me for $50 - $125 AUD depending on condition

So,

Anson 911 GT1

Burago
- Alfa Romeo 164 Squad Car (Italian Police)
- Ferrari Testarossa
- Ferrari Testarossa Brummel Livery
- Porsche 959
- Porsche 911 993 Cabriolet
- Ford Escort Cosworth Martini
- BMW M3

All of the Burago models have their wing mirror's missing and paint scratches except for the 993 Cabriolet which is only missing headlight covers, the Cosworth which only has paint scratches and the M3 which is only missing its left wing mirror but is otherwise pristine.

UT Models

- Porsche 911 Turbo 993 - Pristine
- BMW M3 Race Car - Cracked Windscreen, Missing Emblem, Missing Wing Mirrors

Beanstalk Group

- Aston Martin Vanquish - Pristine (Mechanisms need work)
- Jaguar XKR - Pristine (Mechanisms needs work)
- Ford Thunderbird 2002 Concept - Left wing mirror missing

Maisto (presumably worth shit all and quite a shame since the ones I have are pristine)

- Porsche Carrera GT
- Lamborghini Gallardo
- Jaguar XJ220
- BMW Z4
- Ford Mustang Cobra SVT 2001

I'm planning to sell all of them off and then replace them with just one or two special ones.

Today I got to photograph the models I received in the last two weeks. :)

A Ford Escort Mk1 by Minichamps

A Porsche RS Spyder by AutoArt

A Porsche 911 GT1 by UT Models

A Dodge Viper by Maisto

A Hummer H1 by Maisto (was advertised as Kyosho :-/)

And the whole collection

I actually own the Geneva prototype Veyron already! It's a really nice car from Autoart.

The RS60 Spyder is looking like the one I might buy. I still don't have a Boxster and this is a special edition one which is even better. The Veyron at $154 is tempting but I just don't see how it could possibly be worth that price. It's a nice model but that is a very steep price for me right now.

The friend of mine has agreed to buy up the cars for $345 in total, $200 worth now and the other $145 worth of cars in the near future.

Score!

My three new ones.

from left to right.

Mercedes 190 E 2.3-16 V Cossie, AA
Mercedes S 500, Norev
VW Golf II G60, Otto-Models

The Mc Laren is on his way to me as well.
Should be here on tuesday

Well the Norev S 500 has great lights, good painting and the shape is also captured well.
Inside its ok. For ex. you don?t get that nice seatbelts that you get in the AA but otherwise its a cool model and nobody made an W140 before.

Yeah the Golf II showed how much the market was longing for a Golf II in scale 18.

That doesn't look bad at all. I really want to add a Norev 997 post-facelift GT3 to my collection.

Another UT Models 550 Maranello arrived a few weeks ago, I finally got around to coming back home and checking it out.

This marks my first duplicate, but considering that I paid $18 (!) for it and it's the silver/red version with a better interior and actual disk brakes, it's a worthy addition. Unfortunately, one wheel has suffered a bit from the typical UT tire melting, but other than that, I couldn't be happier!

Just got my 1:43 hpi Volvo 850 T5-R, and I love it!
And for once, not listing something on the eBay auction page led to a pleasant surprise. Turns out its a limited edition model. Only 1216 made by hpi.

My collection grows and grows. :) Today I received the Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 from AutoArt and the Ford Sierra RS Cosworth from Minichamps (which cost me just 20 Euros so it's not a big deal that it isn't that detailed in the passenger compartment).

Engine compartment, the mechanics of the hinges are accurately modeled

The driver compartment, again very accurately modeled

The roof lining with functioning sun visors

Headlights and rear lights, no sign of the almost usual round bits of mounting parts :)

The center console with switches for the power windows and so on

And the rear seatbelt, again real cloth with a tiny buckle

The 190 Bentz is one of the best models AA has ever made.
Oh no....if you know the Sierra from AA which you can get in germany sometimes pretty cheap you won?t like the PMA Sierra anymore. :(
