Well...I woke up early to see this, nearly shat myself when I heard the sonic booms, then went as close as I could to take pics (sorry for qual...through a fence is all I could do)

Just thought I would share!

Yes, I would say I live quite close... :D

Here's a couple more, brought it across the base to the Dryden Section, gonna lift it up on the scaffolding to mount on the 747

Cool pics!

What's that lurking in the hangar - an F22 Raptor?

BTW: SR71 in the sig is great too.

Aye, about 6 raptors here for flight testing....well...since this is the Air Force Flight Test Center :D

thx for sig compliment too :D

very cool pics
i'd love to see more pics of the shuttle when it's going to be mounted on the 747 :)

It'll be about Friday when they have it completely mounted, I'll be able to take some more pics, then some after takeoff :D

Thx for compliments :D

Here is an in flight one...they acually were crap...by the time it was too late, I saw that it was taken in VGA...so they were crap. But I thought I would show it in another way along w/ normal pic...so I can show that it is there!

The white from the forum makes it a little harder to see

In the original you kind acually tell the nose of the ship if you take a good squint at it.

Here is a slight enhance

holy shit that's cool! Almost makes me want to join the AF, almost. hehe. When I was driving back from California to Colorado, in Nevada we got to see a group of F22s fly low over the desert, freakin amazing machines. if the AF could guarantee me a spot in one of those I'd be in basic before the Ink had time to dry on my papers.
