I'm looking for some good looking auto-art to display.

Kinda like this...

But not at US$150 a picture.

Does anyone know good places to get it?

Yeah! I like shopping online! I can do it with no pants on if I want!

I've never found a store in Australia with those kinds of pics. I really like the Bentley and Aston V8 ones.

I'm looking for stuff like that, but without the frames. That way they will be alot cheaper to ship and I can get them framed locally for next to nothing.

It's funny that you ask. Yesterday, I had about 20 new "posters" printed out. I simply loaded up a CD with high resolution pictures from the internet and had them laser printed. They look amazingly good after lamination.

Perhaps you can find large images on the internet and have it printed on oversized paper. My room is covered in auto pornography with a $40USD investment. The place I went to (OfficeMax) also offers glossy prints and framing services. The prints I got look even better than real posters I already had!

Laser colour printers are amazing!

Just store some pics from this site and print them at your local copy shop if you're going for something bigger than A4 or Letter:

Great find. Looked through the site and there are definately some pictures I wouldn't mind stealing....I mean borrowing.

The Bentley ones are pretty good and some of the Mercedes calanders ones of the all chrome cars are awesome. Just wish there were more good Mercs in there, like an SLR, and less C class and E class wagons. :(

Log into media site of manufacturers. BMW has for example a lot of racing stuff as well, 24h races, wtcc stuff etc. And next to that all the simple models with nice images as well. In fact media section of WTCC has high res pictures as well. Don't bother looking on wallpaper sites like DS, you won't get any proper poster size pictures there.

All media sites have poster size pictures, with images up to 15mb in size and a zillion x zillion px resolution.

You can also print out that F1 poster that was posted a while back here.

edit: to get you started, here are a few that you dont need registration for

Nissan
Fiat group, Ferrari, Maserati etc
Chrysler(Dodge)
Porsche Username/PW: carrera/carrera

Umm... pdanev, what's the Username/Password for the Porsche site? Thanks for the suggestion of looking on the Press sites though... I didn't even know they existed!

Edit: Just had had a quick look at some of the Ferrari ones... I had no idea that you could get such high resolution pics without paying for them. Thanks a lot! I'm off to the poster printing shop as soon as I've got time!

This site has some stuff, like
48051.jpg

With a small electric motor fitted inside, the rotation of the brake disc rotor is like that of a car in motion. A 3-volt transformer (not included) is required to drive the motor. A clock battery is not included.

looks pretty cool :p AutoArt

You mentioned high res. BMW pics. Was it only racing cars or also road going BMW's? I have tried looking around but can't find anything poster useable high res. like on the Ferrari site. The bmw hp don't seem to have a pressroom...
I would kill for something like this:

You could make your own frames pretty easily aswell, be even cheaper without the glass but thats just being extreme :)

Your avatar is very cool. Do you have the video of it? Thanks.
