its pretty unheard of over here though, so more of a surprise to anybody over here

NICE!!!!!!!!

Now all you anti-drift people might actually see how skillfull it actually is

^^ Are there a lot of anti-drift ppl in here??? I don't think so...

There was that one guy who said its skill-less cause the car is setup for it.
Well, he's definitely right about that. You know, just like Formula One is skill-less because the car is set up to go really fast.

I hope it airs soon because I cant wait...drifting is always amazing to watch.

i couldnt agree more...for the D1 drivers...well let's just say they dun get much respect from me drifting in a drift-toned car. but i'm sure they kick ass drifting any other cars too, so blah. they're koo too! so i guess wut i'm trying to say is: no respect fer D1, lota respect fer D1 drivers.

and this goes to someone earlier said that F1 drivers dun need skills...you must be outa your mind. just imagine going at 200mph in the straight and with only 1 sec to decide where to brake, you have to then step on the brake without locking the tires and choose the correct line to enter to corner and blah blah blah...and then there are the G force. 2-3 G's every corner for 70+ laps?! And what's even more kool is that these F1 drivers, their pulse are taken throughout the race...and at the beginning of the race, Michael Schumaker's heat beats just 40 times a minute...do i need to say more?

I used to have some respect for D1, thinking that perhaps they will be fast racer on road/hill tracks (man ... perhaps too much Initial D for me :p)

But after watching Hot Version with that top D1 dude (can't rem his name, but he drives the green S15 machine) running the Touge race and got his totally beaten I lost the respect.

I am not saying they are skill-less, they need a skill to flip the car around at highspeed. But I appreciate speed more than style. So I much prefer racing to get the best speed rather than hangin' out showing off.

Just my 2c.

BTW, this is the car I am talking about.
