EDM* discussion thread

Apparently this is somewhat old but I just heard it for the first time this morning:

Anyone else think that would make a pretty cool Tron track?

The song is cool and the idea to do this mashup even cooler! Mind.in.a.box is usually considered as futurepop duo, with darker feel to its songs, but their latest album goes a little away from that premise.

From the same album, another one I really enjoy is this:

What we're gonna do right here is go back.... way back... back in time.

If we're going way back, have some Daft Punk from the nineties ;)

Went to Creamfields in Brisbane yesterday, was the best day I've ever had. Martin Solveig, Skrillex and Deadmau5.
Mainly went to see Deadmau5, I'm a massive fan - I was absolutely ecstatic to get front and center for his set. The best hour and a half of my life.

Just thought I'd share and see what others' experiences have been like.
What's the best show you guys have ever been to?

Yeah, I saw Deadmau5 last summer and it was just amazing. Best dj performance I have ever seen, except for Pendulum maybe.
I'm seeing Skrillex this summer, I hadn't heard of him before but a good friend of mine who is into metal sent me a tune with Skrillex and Korn :p I was impressed to say the least.

No dubstep from me for a change :)

And now for something totally (toadally?) different: Toadally Krossed Out - Toads Theme 2012.

For some reason I really enjoy this. Maybe because it has a certain element of Baltimore Club to it, which I've grown up around and love dearly. Love it or hate it, give it a listen. It's certainly interesting.

And I love the soundcloud tag of "Swampstep."
