No, there needs to be glass armor, but glass armor needs to be uber rare. And Daedric should be as uber uber rare as it was in Morrowind (in Morrowind there's about a full set and a half scattered throughout the world in individual pieces and another full set worn by the strongest npc in the game). Oblivion gets a pass for easily attainable Daedric armor with the Oblivion crisis (yeah yeah yeah, it's really just awful levelled lists, but, see, it's explainable in lore!), but now that the border has been sealed for two hundred years it should be nearly impossible to find anything daedric.
And yay. Like they said the game does look to have a style of its own. The cities look awesome.
