Electric vehicle stocks are getting crushed.
Across the board, nearly every one of the charging, EV and battery companies that is long on hope and short on profits is down more than 20 per cent from their all time highs.

This may be a hiccup. I’m still not fully onboard with battery electric, hydrogen electric yes.

There definitely is a hype. The stock price and market cap of e.g. Tesla are utterly insane and purely speculation - and the same is true for a lot of companies in this "hype space" that is EVs. Lot of this going on currently because there's just so much money sloshing around, exact same thing is happening with a lot of "AI" companies I feel. Not quite a pronounced, but same sort of pattern. It's utterly crazy.

However, at least to me, this is just a financial / stock market hype bubble - and has nothing to do with the adoption of the technology (which, whether you like it or not, is now in the political mainstream so it's going to happen sooner rather than later).

Tessa fell because they bought into bitcoin at the wrong time.
