rather relieved sweden beat russia in the end... that would've been ridiculous...

Sweden was the best entry. It would have been ridiculous that Russia win. Paulina was not bad but not the best... I would have put Estonia second instead of Russia.

At this point, it seems that being in the semifinals greatly increases the chances that people will vote for your song, purely because they've heard it before. That being said, the German song wasn't bad, but it was about as memorable as a sprig of grass in a field of beautiful flowers.
