I mean the game, not the fact that we have will shortly be without TG...

Graphics are really good, especially the characters look awesome.
The name of the thing is what you should be prepared for. Its just frightening. But then I couldn't finish Doom 3 because I freaked out all the time. This is worse, though. You will se what I mean once your down the ladders... :evil:

I have the demo waiting to be installed. Its sitting there, I'll play it tonight.

Cheers mate. I bought Doom 3 but gave up after half an hour. Yes, I'm a whimp. So I can skip this one without worrying.

You guys are wusses 8) (just kidding), I beat both Doom3 and the Expansion Pack. I got a bit scared through it, but its nothing terrible. My friend on the other hand, won't play it unless he has some friends over, lol.

I did play with the lights on though..... :lol:
 
Played the whole demo, and no the "ladder" part didn't get me. Of course I took a FPS'ers true reaction and fired a shot, but I wasn't scared. I flinched a bit. :lol: :lol:

The game looks promising, I actually got to play around with the AI a bit and it seems that it won't be a "run n' gun" type of game. At least I hope so.

What I want to see more of in the game is more physics, one thing that has got to be mandatory is being able to shoot the corpses and the corpses reacting to the shots. So more physics please, also, the "Use" key is a bit clunky, like make its a wider area when you want to go down a ladder. I had to fiddle around before I got the hand thing so I could go down the ladder. Same applies to doors, I had to look down everytime I wanted to open a door.

A few other minor things, but it looks promising, and it shows that I need a new video card, stat. My 9700Pro ain't cutting it no more. :(

Doom3 was scary, this is not. The demo at least wasn't.

Anyway, game's okay, but the demo was like 15 minutes of play time. :thumbsdown:

Took me 18 min to finish the whole thing.
 
I don't play these games, or any "shooters" because I'm too stressed, I feel like I'm the one being shot at, and I suck at shooting others.

I'll stick to driving cars.
 
I'm the best among my friends, multiplayer wise, but then they all suck!

I guess, I'm gonna try FEAR in the full, and then have a beer before playing... Maybe that will help ;-)

Yes, that does tend to happen in this sort of game.

btw, I finished doom3 without any serious fear related problems. Then I tried this, and in 15 minutes nearly died of fright twice.
 
I like the game alot I do not get scared by it at all looking forward to it.
 
I got scared first time - but it's not as bad when you know what's coming.

I really can not wait for this game to be released.
