The F2005 will debut in Bahrain. But is it capable of beating the Renaults in Bahrain?

probably....since i doubt Michael would let Ferrari to continue to fall beind like they are now.

but i'm almost positive that they would win if bridgestone improves thier tires to michelin quality

hmm I like the Bahrain track... should be a cool race! :)

Bahrain

Theyre also usng the new car here. And hopefully better tires. Man I wish I were going. Oh well, TV is good enough.
are you kidding... why aren't you going? GOOOOOOO ... am waiting for Montreal like crazy!

I don't think that it can do it. Well, actually I'm hoping that it can't do it... :D I really don't want that this season becomes as boring as the season last year.

i dont think ferari will win in bharain. mainly cuz first run of the car. apparently its faster than the last years one but still not this race. the best i recon is 1 podium. and it could even be barachello. but i am reserving my last comment till the practice runs.

unfortuantely free tv dosent show practice and qualifying here.

I don't think it will do well, it hasn't finished testing and I bet there are still some things that aren't sorted, plus Bahrain is a real test of car cooling systems as the air-temp in Bahrain is pretty hot plus Bridgestone tires don't do very well in Hot-track temperatures, they usually do better in the European stages

I wouldn't bet my money on it. Renault has showed consistency, McLaren is improving and then there is BAR, BMW and Toyota, which seem to be having a good year as well. That's already 10 fast cars to get past. It could become a tire issue like in Malaysia. The guys at this level work fast and get better results every day, but still, the tires were a huge problem in Malaysia. They have improved, but in really hot conditions, Michelin will still be the winners choice.

I agree with you there, but you never know what the Ferrari's can come up with... Schumacher had won it last year, if tyres are not a serious issue, he might win... But the competiono this year is stiff.

remember...the GTA2004 currently running has been updated to 2005 specs...so unless the engine is much much better, or there is some major change, I dont think Ferrari will have a walk this year.

cheers for a goos season!

Remember that the last race in Malaysia completely wore out Baricello's tires and he had to retire!
If Bridgestone hadn't done much to fix the tire wear in hot weather, Ferrari would be behind--new car or not.

I think it'll be a close call between Renault, Toyota, Williams, and McLaren. Kimi has had good races that were ruined by bad luck. He might come through this race.

Well, first day's practises are done and so far the Ferrari looked promising. Nothing world-shattering so far, but it surely is more competitive than the old car.

I'll wait until sunday before making judgements on it's speed.

What's with the 3 cars from 1 team? I kinda missed that...
Aren't only 2 allowed for a race day? And why both test drivers from McLaren are faster than Raikkonen?:
But well.. Tomorrow's qualification will tell.
