The screener was posted here almost a week ago, where have you been? :p

I'm glad they made it back, and I can't believe they got cancelled in the first place.

Not paying attention as usual. :?

I like the British porn bit:

"Almost, almost, almost, there we are."
"Well done."

"You know Margaret, we could have sexual intercourse right now"
"Yes, yes we could."
"Mmm, but let's not."

That was pretty funny, better than the older seasons I think, glad to see it's back on the air

As an owner of seasons 1-3 on DVD of Family Guy and a fellow fan of the show, I was really pleased to hear about season 4. And yes, this was definately a fantastic episode.

As soon as they got to the credits, I knew it was gonna be fantastic what with that opening joke - listing a whole bunch of shows and saying they'd only have a chance if all those shows were cancelled... guess what!?! Not a fan of practically any of the other shows they mentioned so didn't get it - until I heard Firefly.., then it made sense.
Yeah, fantastic episode overall, can't wait till next weeks show...

Slight sidenote, anyone seen 'American Dad'? Made be Seth McFarlane too (same guy as Family Guy) and also just started recently. Seen the two episodes, don't think I'll bother anymore myself - I just didn't find it funny at all. But he really seems to have got it right with Family Guy...

american dad is good too but they feel very similar not only due to the fact that the same guy made it

on dvd season 3 did u see the unaired jewish part??

Yup, my season 2 has that episode (for some reason). Had a good laugh! :)
Being in Bahrain, I'm gonna guess that the FG DVD you may be able to buy over there won't include that episode either?

As for American Dad, it wasn't that it was familiar to Family Guy, I just didn't find it very funny. Not sure why, may have to give it another chance. But Family Guy has always been laugh out loud funny first time round for me...

that episode was there at the end of season 3

in american dad the guy feels like that cop from fg joe

Yeah, the episode was at the end of season 3, but having just looked at my DVD boxes, I can see that it's been included on the end of season 2 - the episode is "When you Wish Upon a Weinstein".

Confirmed Right here at TV Tome. Look at the notes section.

Yeah, the Dad in American Dad does remind me of Joe. Will watch it again tonight - could be I just wasn't paying enough attention when I watched it first time 'round...

got american dad ep2 yester day will watch it today and family guy also

simpsons was a headache with the slow connection here in Bahrain it took soooooo long to get BOTH episodes

American Dad blows.

very small chance of that happening

Yeah, last episode of family guy was funny, but come on, this cartoon is SO Anti-Christian that it made my sick to the bones. That fucking Hurowizt Company is behind both Family Guy & American Dad. I just cannot believe that Christians haven't started protesting against those morally degradated & jewish cartoons. I personally want that crap to be banned from tv and never showen to the public again. :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

I am tired of the christian right deciding what I can watch. If you don't like a show, CHANGE THE CHANNEL, don't go running to the government saying "that shouldn't be shown on TV because it offends me". It's people who think that they should decide what the rest of the country is allowed to watch, that really makes me "sick to the bones". I enjoy watching Family Guy, American Dad, and South Park, all shows that say bad words and make fun of people, and it's my decision to watch those shows. I don't go crying to the government when they add more christian channels to the cable lineup, I just block them with parental controls at the cable box.

Peter: OW! OW! OW! just stop, STOP IT MAN...
Guard: ok...

sorry thats a horrible thing to laugh at but i loved it
