Check this out though:

We look forward to the Stig taking on allcomers around the Top Gear test track in our demonstrator assuming of course that the BBC feel it is appropriate to give our British built sportscar the opportunity to humiliate their current lap record holder the Ferrari Enzo.

I guess this will be featured next season?

I'd bet money that they would show it on the next show.

But I am bit worried that since the maker of the car is not highly recognized yet though.

I'm pretty sure it would obliterate the Enzo's time.

I'm not so sure it qualifies as a "road car"... but I just realized the Atom is on there, so why not. The Renault wasn't "official" but this should be. However, if you want a kit-carish hunkered down Le Mans style homogenized racer, there's lots more to choose from (the Dauer comes to mind).

Can it go over a speed bump? Completly unharmed?
If it can, they will allow it on the Power Lap Board...

I would at least want to see a review of that car, it will be fast certainly, but the question is why would you take it to the road? A track is its home!!

Sorry, but in my conception of things, if it can?t be driven on the street it?s a race car, so it can be considered "World?s fastest car"

We got a couple of very common speed bumps here that I'm sure would prove to be too much for a murcielago or enzo.
If the thing is fully street legal then I'd say put it on the board, we can always ignore it if we don't agree ;)

In the UK everything is roadlegal as long as it has light's, indicators, braking lights, seatbelts and working brakes. This only counts for these small car companies though, the others need to meet certain health and safety requirements.

 Sorry, I read it in a hurry, and misunderstood you!

After seeing this car all over the web, I would really like to see TG take this car out for a spin. I want to see if this thing is for real and how JC will react to the styling.

Ultima's are completely road legal, not just in the UK but all over.

Very basic though as an every day car, I think you'd get pissed off with it.

Are you sure it has been type registered?
Sorry, can't find a better way to explain myself. Well for example Evo 7 was not sold in Finland because Mitsubishi hadn't type-registered the model in here or in Europe.

doesnt have a boot though... does it? The atom made it because it had trunkspace. DBR9 didnt make it since you can't buy one.

The Enzo has a button that lifts the nose... And the murci isn't that low...

And as far as I know, all the Lamborghinis since the Diablo 6.0 also have that "nose-lift" thingy...

0-60, 0-100, and 0-100-0 times are all well and good, but I doubt it will be able to handle much better than the Maserati MC12 or the Enzo, which means on a small track like Top Gear's the time may not be much better, if it is at all.
