So whats your favourite airline for international trips?

Mine is Singapore Air. Economy class is great because their in-flight entertainment (KrisWorld) has all of the latest box-office movies in it. Food/service is as good as it is in Singapore itself - Great!

Qantas is also very good and getting better. In Business Class, they have these amazing "bucket" seats which are really comfortable. Aussie hospitality is top stuff aswell obviously!

i dont make very long distance flights, mainly 2-3hours max. hence i always take some cheap airline company. they arent the best concerning comfort and legroom, but well, for 50-100euros per ticket and a 2hour flight i guess its quite fine :)

recently I flew with singapore airlines ... it was really good in the economy class food was good too.

Domestic (since those flights can be 5 hours or so) would have to be American or Delta.

My international travel has been limited, but Delta and BA are pretty nice airlines for International travel to Europe. A friend of mine goes to Japan and really likes Northwest.

I prefer Northwest, but Iceland Air is usually a bit cheaper.
Haven't tried other airlines.

Northwest Airlines, because I get a 40% discount :D

Or Space-A flights on the USAF cargo planes (gotta be military or military dependent) here, as simple as $20 to hop a flight to hawaii, japan ect. :D

^^ Wow... That's nice...

I did fly with BA, Malaysia Airlines (4 BIIIIG flights...), Air New Zealand and Quantas and some samll I don't remember. Oh, and Lufthansa (Business, Baby... Got upgraded..)

BA was some years ago, dunno...
Quants was only a short Hop.
Air New Zealand was quite nice, but nothing special.
And Air Malaysia was awesome. Mostly because the 777 had some Problems prior to start in Kuala Lumpur, and we were driven to the Hilton and got a nice room with free food and beer... ;-)

yea malaysian hospitality cannot be matched...hahah

Well I used to have to fly Singapore to go back to Taiwan from South Africa. Horrible trip. 20 something hours including flight, waiting in the airport, horrible. I did that trip twice a year for 10 or something years.

I like Singapore Airlines but they got too small for me... The seats were a bit cramped...

I recently flew Emirates and KLM, I must say the Dutch do a good airline. The new entertainment system is a bundle of fun and you can select your own music playlist and all that.

I must say, South African Airlines is not too bad either. I know they are a little behind on the technological things and entertainment but the seats were designed for big Afrikaaner boere mense (local big white farmers). Very good legroom and rather comfy.

Our family has been using BA for the past couple years, and I like them quite a bit. For the route we take, they're very convenient (two long-haul flights instead of a long-haul and a smaller plane), and they have four classes instead of just three: an economy plus that is a little wider and has more legroom than regular economy, you get six more channels on the TV (even regular economy has a TV in each chair with 12 channels and pretty recent movies), and free games to play too! I also got to ride business class once, which has seats that recline to a six foot flat bed. Very easy to sleep. 8) I also like their e-tickets and online check-in (no lines! )

CHINA AIRLINES OWNS ALL!!! Most 747s! i was able to fly in a new 747 from HK to Taiwan. They have awsome food and service. The new planes have eletrical outlets in each seat, and First Class owns.

Air France. Little TV's in the headrests, even in economy (welfare ;) ) class, so you can play Pac-Man ripoffs and watch Matrix Revolutions, as I did on a recent trip to, erm, France.

I gotta say QANTAS. Service is friendly and reliable, Aussie hospitality at its best.

BA? Well, I'm never flying with them ever ever ever again. London to Melbourne. I got food poisoning on the plane, the seats were uncomfortable, the check in lady was an absolute bitch to Dad (refused to help him even though he is a Platinum QANTAS Club member and BA has to recognise QANTAS club cards) oh, and they lost our luggage... we got it back two days later.

I usually fly Cathay Pacific everywhere I go so I can get my frequent flyer points... the service sucks and the seats aren't any as comfortable as Singapore Air but my Silver Frequent Flyer status took quite awhile to achieve and I'm not loosing it

but besides Cathay, I love Virgin Atlantic... very nice seats and good Entertainment

Unfortunately you may have no say in that - with code-sharing you could book a Qantas flight and end up on a BA plane...

I haven't flown much - but we flew Emirates to Europe a few years back and were quite impressed. Air New Zealand were also good when we flew to NZ last year.

Well, we actually booked London to Melbourne with BA... big mistake.

Generally there's enouh QANTAS flights to Europe that you don't have to code-share, but once you get to shorter flights (London - Zurich for example), you do code-share.
