The best opening ceremony I've ever seen, and the only one with a F1 car.

Luca Badoer was behind the wheel.

For those who don't know, the winter olympics started tonight in Turin, Italy.

**EDIT** (TechZ) LINK to the Video, thanks Vipergts662.

Was there a ferrari? Damn. I watched many bits of the opening ceremony but missed that bit, the only bit worth watching! :wall:

Damn it! All I saw was a skater with a flaming helmet and a bunch of people with cows and some guys with flags on their heads. A burning out Ferrari? F***ing Right! Though I guess this is the closest that the Olympics will get to hosting auto racing events... :x

And I was telling my friend how it would be cool if a car was out there screwing around...

Sweet. I was watching the "Going Tribal" marathon while the ceremony was going on.

I'll try and find a rip of it somewhere.

you shoulda watched longer, haha. it was right after the italians walked out

Got to FINALLY see the burnout at 11pm Pacific, two hours after the ceremony on T.V. here. It was an awesome ceremony, but that topped it all

Yeah, the local commentators were saying that this has nothing to do with the winter olympics. BUT WHO CARES? the best opening ceremony ever, just the whail of the engne on the stadium would have been worth the ticket...

there's not even one mention on the car that it's a ferrari :|
