And a drawing by hanasand. Looks good IMO, just unrefined.

I thought this was a really cool idea (i thought of it hahaha) and it'd be a shame if we didnt actually materialise it.

looks old and dated ... we live in 2005. No wonder why some complain about Bangles BMW designs, if they like that ^^^^^

It looks like a datsun mated with that top line MG. I could use some updateing :)

Ps, one of the things I've done in 3dmax b4:

I just need some time to get it again, i somehow threw it away, so i'm downloing it as we speak.
And it would also be nice if someone with some cad skills could make a proper 2d image.

Something like this:
http://www.subzeuz.nl/blueprints/tamiya/enzo/Ferrari Enzo-high[1].jpg
But more basic :)

Anything like the blueprint above really helps. I could kinda do it by guessing, but if you get it right in 2d, theres a smaller chance that it'll look wierd in 3d.

True, if you want it quick, I can't help you, tomorrow I have the Rally in Emmeloord and sunday is reserved for school. I'm sure there are some nice people here who are better in a CAD program than I am.

Theres no rush for me, its not like we have a boss or dead line to answer to :)

We can always wait for more views or imput.

Have fun at the rally, take some pix for us pls, mmm evos..

The front wheels should be a bit more forward. Like that it would be just awful to drive.

You want me to do sketches? I'm not really good at drawing. But the car seems out of proportion somehow. If has the same lines as Enzo, but it doesn't make sense because both the front and the rear wheels are close to the cabin. It could be like the new Mustang or like the Enzo. See the difference? If the car would be rear engined, the nose could go down much earlier and there wouldn't be that 'empty space' in front of the front wheels. Also a point which should be noted is, that the whole body line of the Enzo arches over the front wheels. The current sketches have something like that, but the cabin is still quite high, or maybe the wheel arches are just too big... I don't know. Suddenly I don't want to be a car designer anymore. :D

Anyway my dream car wouldn't even be rear engined, so maybe I'm the wrong person to tell you how to do things.

My dream car wouldn't have any of those configurations.
It would be RWD Mid-Engine V12.
I second this.

And I'm pretty good at drawing / sketching...I could give it a go.

^Hmm I got AutoCAD skills, but that's not good for cars is it?
AutoCAD BLOWS for 3D work. It's great for 2D stuff, but is just a PITA for 3D stuff. (I took 4 years of drafting in high school, 3 of those were doing CAD and 2 of those were on AutoCAD.)

I didn't want to try it in 3d

That's nearly impossible..or ALOT of work...

Kip I think you can use a drawing too, right? I would draw it out for you with measurements, but.......I haven't got a lot of sparetime...   :yucky:

Anything a bit more percise than the sketches above helps.

Have a look at the enzo blueprint i posted, something like that would be fab.

Well if there isn't anybody else who can do it, I could do it, after my next exams which will end at about 10april...

But, I could also take some measurements of a standard sportscar and modify then a tisty-bitsy :)

I'll try to work on it.
