Will Team Final Gear be there?
We're officially been accepted to the next CMP race being held in May. This is the same track where we last raced, and had the car become a tripod on us, and will mark our third of fourth trip there in total. This race will also be a little different because they actually hold a LeMons parade/block party in Camden followed by BS inspection on Friday night. This will be our first race of the season and probably our only one till the fall, so if you want to come join the party, make your plans now.
I don't know that we're looking for more drivers at the moment. We're changing our fundamental strategy this season to try to make a big push for position. Fewer driver changes, more time in the car, faster pit stops.Does the origianl application still apply? Whwn is the money needed?
It's worth noting that if you hurry, Speedycop (the insane genius, mad scientist, legend, all-around-awesome dude and owner of the Lincoln Mark VIII that we tend to use as our performance benchmark) is looking for someone to drive an improved version of this: http://murileemartin.com/wordpress/?p=1086 in New Jersey on April 9th. Details are here: http://forums.24hoursoflemons.com/viewtopic.php?id=8973

Caught a post about the finalgear lemons team, organized a team of friends and co-workers, bought a car and the rest is history.

With two races behind us, I'm not so sure that thanks are in order (this shit is HARD), but I'll definitely drink a beer or 12 with ya!
