47: depends on which route you're taking. If you're going past Maribor to reduce the number of kms through Slovenia, you can take the route I'm taking:

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=204285427274125581137.0004a77b9953e28437957&msa=0&ll=48.144098,11.315918&spn=6.165431,14.27124

But if you're starting from Zagreb, then this would be the preferable route:

http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=A2/E70&daddr=50.52527,7.03959+to:Unknown+road&hl=en&ll=48.305121,12.23877&spn=6.146101,14.27124&sll=50.523905,7.107468&sspn=0.183564,0.445976&geocode=FaeNuwId3HfvAA;FVb0AgMdZmprACk1NYD6XP6-RzExim8C1dQiEw;FRysAgMdrHxqAA&mra=dpe&mrsp=1&sz=12&via=1&z=7

I added a little detour on a recommended twisty road towards the campsite on both.

I somehow envy you for the scenic part of the route but not for the Autobahns you are forced to use :p

You sir, have some style!

Thx. This will probably be our route, since I have to pick him up. This seems shortest/fastest.
We'll skip the twisty bit, I don't think I'll need that after a night of driving, thx :)

I just hope the Focus makes it, hehe.

If you want, make a short stop in Regensburg. Really cool town & people (even though it is in Bavaria) :p

If you're arriving in the morning, then you should come to the campsite. If at about 10h, 11h or later, then the ring itself.

I was thinking of coming to the campsite first. If all goes well, we should start the drive at 6PM at the latest!
So let's say around 12-13 hours drive (with breaks and all), I'm hoping to be there when you guys are waking up :)

How far is the campsite anyway, could someone pinpoint it on the maps ;)

Apparently I'll be there at the same time as my cousin's boyfriend, he's taking his new M3 over to give it a run around the track. Yes, he's driving all the way from the Midlands just for a few laps, now that's dedication. Apparently there's a chance that me and maybe Dave can get a couple of passenger laps.

Well, latest news has removed rain completely now.

This has been the completely redundant long-term weather report.

Also: I should be picking up the envelopes today. Any my now fixed lens. And getting a quote on the new brakes. My wallet weeps.

Will get a quote on the brand-new hole in my exhaust today.

The A3 route that goes through Regensburg is quite good. Made it back in 3.5 hours last night.

I also had dinner at the Scheune on saturday, I told the guy I?d give him a final number on the wednesday before OGP. Is that manageable?

I won't drive 1500 kilometers with a shot exhaust. Another 150 bucks going down the drain. If I can get 150 extra bucks somewhere, the new alternator I had to put in last week pretty much ate up my savings. Otherwise it's a train to Bochum and hitching a ride with DanRoM from there.
