Dude that's a baller ride what'd that cost to build up?

I used to ride (got stolen last fall) an 04 evolve with a vanilla 125r, mostly park and trials riding.

Don't have any recent pictures of mine... Frame has taken everything I've thrown at it. Had to replace a couple parts since the photo was taken

Yep, not a mountain bike, but I still use it for every single bicycle need I have.
BTW, on the contrary, I don't know how to stunt with this bike, but use it for long distance cycling AND mountain biking :bangin:

Here's my mountain bike I've had for a good five or six years. I used to go riding all the time with friends but after Senior year of high school I kind of stopped going. It's not too fun to ride by yourself.

Recently I've gotten back into it, actually just put some new, less-shitty, SRAM grip shifts on it. Still need to take a link or three out of the chain, and I'd like to get it some new tires. Or I might just start saving for a Specialized Rockhopper, something with disc brakes and some decent rims and tires.

I'm not into racing but using this as a daily transport and occasionally for weekend trips and on holidays:

The picture's approx. two years old, I did replace the side bags with porper Ortlieb bags since then and added a very recommendable set of Trelock battery powered lights. Apart from that, it's a rather standard Peugeot trekking bike with a mixture of Shimano LX and Acera components. It's done 14.5k kilometers now and is showing its age so that I'll only keep it over the summer and look for a replacement in autumn.

I actually went riding for the first time in like 6 months to a year. Rode around 30 blocks total to the bank and back (fucking no driver's license or car!).

Man am I outta shape...

It's complicated.
The bike I mostly use:

And the one I prefer to ride... as long as there's not much uphill involved!

I can't believe I didn't see this thread, I started off as a avid Mountain Biker, had a Giant hard-tailed Mountain Bike with Hydraulic front shocks, Shimano XTR Gruppe set, then I had a really bad fall which totaled the bike, so coupled with my back problems... I gave up MTB and went to a road Bike.

Started off with a simple Scott 8speed Shimano Tiagra gruppe set and an all aluminum frame which weighed in at 22lb's... after I wanted to get serious, I had to decide between a Litespeed with Campag gruppe sets (I personally didn't like the feel of campaq's gearing, felt so harsh and fragile) or a Fuji with Shimano Dura-ace Gruppe Set which only weighed 16lb's... ended up with the Fuji, it is really light, only thing about it is when you're going downhill at speeds (~50kph), you can really feel the lightness of the frame which can get pretty scary.

I was all set to get a Fuji Roubaix LTD, but plans changed.... I will be getting a good road bike SOON! I am currently rocking an '06 Giant FCR 2 with a few mods. I want to convert it to a full road bike, but I use it as a commuter too much, so right now I kinda like having it as a flat bar bike.

this threads kinda old, but I might aswell post my bike:
giant XTC SE frame with hydrailic disk front and back with air shock and hookworm "downhill" tires (they get major slippage on even dirt trails....) they work awesome on the street though.

A well-timed bump since there was a bicycle race in town today. It was cool to watch and they had everyone from beginners to professionals.

This is my new one (actually it's about 2 months old now). The picture is a little old, i've added a few things recently (like lights, and emergency kit).

It's a Specialized Crosstrail Expert. I mostly ride it around town, and i'll occasionally ride it to work. I really need to start riding it to work more often.
