I'm pretty sure it was Tomorrow Never Dies, and my brother had to take me as I wasn't 15 yet when it was released. I remember my mum was none too pleased that I wanted to see such a violent film :). I've seen a few on the telly since but not in the cinema.

I don't remember exactly which one, but it starred Timothy Dalton as Bond and was as a consequence, rather crap. Afterwards I started watching the Connery ones, and all was well

Had to be Moonraker. I was 8 or 9 at the time. Not an auspicious start, but later I made up for it with From Russia with Love and Goldfinger. And over the years, I've seen each and all of them multiple times (save from both Casino Royales, don't know why).

I guessed that because of the demographic here, as well as the video game, that Goldeneye would run away with this, it is.

I started form the begining. Then I jumped around a bit. But I've seen and own them all.

Moonraker when I was about 9 or 10

It might have been Dr. No, I'm not sure as I was in my early teens, maybe younger. One of Brosnan's films was coming out (Tomorrow Never Dies perhaps?) and I wanted to see the old ones. My mom and I rented and watched every single one together. I've been hooked ever since (hence the username).

I own 1 of the 3 DVD box sets, but then I realized how fucking expensive they are (I think it was like $100 for the 6 movies or something) and how shit DVD quality is. I currently have every single one in 720p and am in the process of replacing them all with Blu-ray sourced 1080p. :)

^I have every single one on DVD, for something stupidly cheap like 59?s

and that's everything up to and including Casino royale

The first one I can remember was Moonraker, I might have seen others before it but not realised it was 007.

It was For Your Eyes Only, i saw it in the theater as a little kid with my parents, i dont remember much except the Lotus and a lot of skiing. Then i started seeing the older Bond movies on tv and video.

*eyes the huge number of ppl who list Goldeneye as their first Bond movie* geez theres a pretty huge generation/age gap here on the forums

I remember watching Goldeneye on TV which Channel 7 were showing as The World is Not Enough had just (or was about to) hit the cinemas. However I have memories from an earlier time which involved a car chase featuring a yellow car. I dont remember the movie title (probably one of the Roger Moore ones...hey, it's 4:30am as I post this) and it was just that one sequence before I got bored and went to do something else. Have since seen most Bond films.

My first bond movie experience is somewhat of a story.

I think I was 6 as it was before Goldeneye. Apparently I did something kindof gay, or unmanly for the politically correct types, but then you wouldn't be watching bond now would you, and my dad decided that he would rid me of the gay with some James Bond. We went and rented 5 of them and watched them over the weekend. As for which one was first I voted Thunderball but I dont actually remember if we watched Thunderball or For Your Eyes Only first, like I said it was very long time ago. Well as I am now very straight, a gear head, and Bond fanatic I guess he did his job well.

1st and favorite. Goldfinger could be just for the DB5, but said car can't save all Bond movies because Thunderball was proberbly if I had to make a poll would be the worst (maybe on par with OHMSS).

I think I have tuned out.
019: The World Is Not Enough
020: Die Another Day
022: Casino Royale
023: Quantum of Solace

Never seen them.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service on the telly as a kid. Had a tremendeous affect on me: Until this day when the winter arrives here in Switzerland and I step on my skis as much as possible, the classic OHMSS movie theme comes up in my head and stays there. "Tam-tam-tatatatata-tam-tam"... :D

Saw the first six 60's films a lot during my childhood, there was allways one of them on the telly during sunday. But all the later movies starting from Diamonds Are Forever on and during the Roger Moore area I found somewhat cheesy, with the exception of For Your Eyes Only which has a good, simple and classic McGuffin story.

And then, 1987, the first Bond movie I saw in the cinema, I was too young, but managed to slip in: The Living Daylights, in my view still one of the best Bond films with a very cool background soundtrack.

Not to keen on the Brosnan Bond's, even Goldeneye isn't under my favourites. I liked The World Is Not Enough, but with Die Another Day the cheesy-ness was on full tilt again and that movie killed my interest in Bond movies.

Saw Casino Royale only once on DVD, may have to watch it again sometimes... not sure if I'm gonna see the new one in the cinema.

Greetings, lip

For worst... I'd have to say either Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace. They were decent movies... but as "Bond Movies", they were horrible. Craig makes a good English spy/secret agent... but he's no James Bond IMO.

No idea, it was so long ago. I'd seen all of them by the age of 13 or something. Well before the one with Halle Berry was released in any case.

If I were to chuck a random guess I'd have to say it was Dr No.

EDIT: Why no #21?
