First review of new Fiat 500 (yes, id like one)

the interior is funky, actually designed pretty damn well. but the front... oh dear... a bit too girlish for my liking.

Mini FTW!

That Abarth looks great on the 'ring - plenty capable in the turns.

(Though what the hell was that Cayenne mule that passed it?)

It was an SUV with more power, that powered past. Don't worry. :)

It still doesn't convince me, but I have to admit that the Mini may finally have a serious competitor.

The Fiat Ka 500 doesn't convince, but it has more retro chintz than the Beetle. More lambs to the slaugher, after they've qued up overnight for an iPhone.

Yet another car that looks like a scrotum. Looks suspiciously like this one:

It looked like one of BMW's SUVs to me.

Yet another car that looks like a scrotum. Looks suspiciously like this one: nissan micra

Notice how Nissan made it really ugly though. Simply by adding that one extra body line that widened the lower half of the car.

How can it look like a Micra when its based on a 50 year old design...

If anything the Micra tried to look like the original 500.

Ive heard it all now, Italians copying design from the Japanese...

Hello graduation present ! (Even if it is six years away)

So I've got 3 choices

1. Panda 100
2. Mini
3. This

Hmmm tough choice.

I didn't say that the 500 looked like a Micra. I said it looked like a scrotum.

The original 500 does as well.

It looks great, as long as it doesn't "do a mini" and get so common that you get sick of its cool-funky-retro-ness.

Just played around with the video configuator. Now I really want one of those cars...if only I had the money to import it...

Stickers are back? What is this, 1982?

wheres the engine and which axle is does the power go to?

i like small cars, but that just looks like some daft bubble, interior is fun though

if it really is "sharper" then a panda, as well as better at absorbing bumps then i suppose that sounds like a really well sorted car, either that or James Mays discription of his panda made me think it was way nicer then it really is

The engine is transversely mounted up front and powers the front wheels.

Weren't they compared the 500 to the Panda 100, which is (according to James May) very bad compared to the regular one.
