flanders collection cars (mautzel, get in here!) - no 56K

Also, the Fiats had both wipers meeting in the middle and going opposite ways rather than both going the same way. However, it seems to have the little repeater lamps that Italian cars used to have.

It still has the liftback shape of the Dino though.

tnx!

looks like packard made quite some cars back in its days. what happened to the brand? they just went bust? or wasn't revived after the war? (like so many others)

Got another one: the blue, rusty lorry is a Citroen C4.

Packard built cars independently until 1956 (ranking as the 16th - 14th biggest US manufactor producing up to 70.000 vehicles a year), then they acquired Studebaker in order to survive the rising competition against the big three which made the situation even worse and management was taken over by a corporation that mainly used Packard as a tax write off and tried to sell rebadged Studebakers as Packards. This new type of Packard was unable to attract customers, as a result production stopped after 1958.

nice!

and is it possible the red on is a deTomasso? i remember their being a deTomasso, but can' remember which one it was (and if i've taken pics of it)

I also though that it might be a one off as well because I can find quite a few pictures of similar looking cars but nothing that really matches it.

I'm with you on that one!

After searching the web for over an hour now I think my theory of a one off might be true: As far as I can see, its not a:

- De Tomaso
- Iso
- Monteverdi
- Fiat Moretti
- Jensen
- Alfa / Lancia / Maserati
- Triumph
- Rover (well, unlikely anyway)
- others I don't even remember any more

Help is appreciated now (fluffnik, magnet?)

you don't have to search your ass of for them

I've also been looking for it and i've got nothing!

Big thanks to you, Beni, guess that would've taken an awful lot more time until I got to OSI (why didn't turn it up whilst I was searching for Michelotti?) Anyway, great to finally know what it is

It's been sold as a Ford, at least in Germany, it was based on the Ford 20M if I understood right. Only 2000 built.

It looked fast but only had a 90hp V6.

Nice to know that! (Not to mention that I checked Opel and Ford as well without a result - should be more careful next time!)

No, not really. Only the site linked above, which features some of the cars sold there.

has anyone ever seen such an E190 cabrio before? was a first for me, looked great from every angle, and the guy stated that it's the only one in belgium

Bone,

I saw the 190 cab at the Bruges classic car show earlier this year, they did ask quite a lot of money for it, didn't they?

The old MG it not a TC btw, it's a TD.

So you live close to Ghent, small world huh... I live in Ghent during weekdays and during weekends not that far too. Sadly, I didn't have time to go to the classic car show in Flanders Expo this year...
