Microwave crisp maker?

Ordered, thankyou Ebay.

After much mockery, it makes crisps!!! I waitied till after to salt them, but because they're dry the salt doesn't stick.
I'll try salt before cooking, next time.

iirc, from seeing how it's made, in factory they're also salted after baking
and also, first salt them, then bake them in 190?C oil? it'll melt all off!

i think you'll need very fine salt, and put it on immediately after baking, while they're still warm...

How its made is fantastic, last night, petrol tanks and crockery.

Also wondering about other flavours, salt and vinegar in particular. I'm thinking the vinegar would run off if used before cooking?

EDIT: Ok after they were cut, i slathered them in salt and vinegar. When they were done they didn't taste of much.
I then resalted and vinegared when cooked, again no real flavour.

I'll try a google search.

The Americans put the cut potatoes in a bag with vegetable oil and the flavour, shake and then cook.
Some say oil and then season after cooking.

I leave the skin on due to laziness, you can tell they're not fried, but the texture is fine.
I use one of these all i use is the mandolin and the rack. The mandolin doesn't fit in the bowl i'm gonna have to cut it.

Heres non "As seen on ebay" versions, using plates etc.

Had this for lunch on dad's birthday a few days ago. Not my photo, but uncle Google to the rescue:

Veal Filet Mignon in mushroom sauce served with ?truklji (flat pastry, rolled up, filled with cottage cheese (or even goat cheese if the restaurant is feeling adventurous) and boiled) topped with breadcrumbs fried in butter.

I did a search online looking for good burger joints that I haven't already visited and found this place:

I ordered a double chiliburger with cheese and as I bit into it I thought, "Mmmm MMMM! This is a tasty burger!"

If you like burgers, give them a try sometime.

(No photos because 1. I forgot my phone, and 2. It was a chili cheeseburger. They taste a lot better than they look.)

Speaking of burgers, I recently had the "Ringmaster" Whopper at Burger King and it was great! :D I only got it because I got a coupon that gave me a free drink and side with the purchase of the burger; I would never pay $7 for a burger.

Wha? Most people fry the potatoes, then season them with salt and pepper after...never heard of the bag deal
