Ford mustang question

i know this mustang was built in 1981 and only 250 were made, sold for 25,000 a piece. but does anyone know about the engine, body, weight etc.
any info would be appreciated. (and if you saw any pic's of this car on the internet plz post the site name.) thnx

I don't think thats a ford mustang

It looks more like a Mercury Capri

But I could be wrong
 
The early Fox-bodied Mustangs and Capris were very similar. That is a 1981 Mclaren Mustang, as far as I can tell.

Yeah, the rear profile looks like a Mustang.
 
Wow sweet looking car! I never knew these existed. I'd say it's a Mustang for sure.

7 posts about an American car and nobody's said anything bad about it. Must be a record!:)

I had the toned down SVO version of that car (4 cylinder turbo) for about a year, and I got it for FREE!! I never should have gotten rid of that car.
